If you would like to design a custom house to your specifications you should have the following information:

• A sketch (hand drawn is fine) or some examples from another design
• An idea of how large you would like the building to be
• The style of roof that will appeal to you
• The kind of basement (full, crawl space, slab on grade)
• A survey plan of your lot if possible

Once you have that together we will get together for a preliminary meeting and discuss what you would like to have in your new house or building. After this, I will develop the floor plans and review them with you. We then make changes as necessary according to your desires. We will do this until you are satisfied with the layout. Once you are satisfied I will develop the remaining plans that will form the package. At the end the drawing set will include:

• Floor plans with dimensions
• Sections. Cut through the building showing the building construction
• Elevations. Showing the exterior of the building.
• Details as required.
• Site plan. If a survey plan has been provided
• Four full size print sets, one half size set (11 X 17) and a PDF copy of your plans are the final product.

At this point you will be ready to request a building permit, get estimates and proceed to construction.
